I have an addiction to buying makeup, you can get it cheap and it makes you look great. Now I'm a very frugal gal so when I shell out $7 at Walmart for my next lip care fix it better be good stuff. I don't want any of you to waste your or your parent's hard earned money buying something that doesn't work so I'm reviewing some of my recent purchases for FREE!
Softlips: Basic Lip Balm
A friend recommended this and I am head over heels! My lips feel silky smooth every time I use it. The balm is lightweight and unnoticeable with a hint of yummy vanilla. Raspberry, cherry, and strawberry flavors are also available. Along with moisturizing, Softlips provides sun protection essential for healthy lips. Available at major retailers, I bought mine at Target for a couple of dollars.
Covergirl Outlast Double Lipshine: Color Please!
This color/gloss duo claims 10 hours of beauty, and I'm a 6' 2" supermodel. The gloss isn't unbearably sticky but definitely requires reapplication. The color (in my case #305 Sahara) is long lasting, mine stayed on through dinner last night, but make sure to moisturize before application so it goes on evenly. Over all I give it a thumbs-up. Its up to you to decide if you want to pay $8 for good looking color, don't expect much from the gloss.
Cinnamint Mentha Lip Shine: Fresh Flavor
I could eat this stuff. The ah-mazing cinnamon taste is due to the real cinnamon and peppermint oil in every tube. I recommend this for any girl with a beau that likes cinnamon ;) because sadly the cool minty feel and yummy taste is all CO Bigelow's lip gloss is good for. Without moisturizers or sun protection it lacks practicality but when did we start caring about that anyway? Find it at Bath and Body Works for $7.50 a pop. As the Kooks say-"Shine On" girls, shine on.
